Non-Profit Support

Creative Resources Unlimited for Veterans (CRUFV)

Creative Resources Unlimited for Veterans (CRUFV) is committed to serving transitioning military members of all branches of service as well as disadvantaged veterans by providing assistance to remove barriers that may prevent them from obtaining employment. CRUFV believes that we can make a difference by giving the veteran a hand-up (Vets Helping Vets) not a hand-out thus preventing possible long term unemployment and homelessness. We work with veterans, other veteran organizations, government and the private sector to make a difference in the lives of those who served.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit, we receive support from grants, corporate sponsors, individuals, event sponsors and various state programs. Our goal is to provide employment training, veteran benefit information and connection of the services our veterans in transition may need. We also seek to educate employers as to the value a veteran can bring to their business!

All of the services offered is free of charge to veterans. Our goal is to deliver employment information/training and connection to the services our veterans in transition may need. We also seek to educate employers as to the value a Veteran can bring to their business!

Our vision is to connect local veterans with the resources and services they need for civilian employment and encourage partnerships within our communities to promote veteran hiring. Also our vision is that all military veterans obtain meaningful employment in jobs that offer: The security of sustainable income for themselves and their families, the opportunity for professional advancement, a sense of personal fulfillment and purpose, encouragement and support in being valued leaders and contributors in their chosen fields. We are committed to helping all veterans’ transition into meaningful employment and a career path.

As a non-profit organization and as individuals, we value integrity, personal excellence, innovation, mutual respect and collaboration. We are committed to veterans and the communities we serve, and to those who share our passion for a more economically viable and sustainable future. We take pride in our partnerships and employees who work hard to make this mission-oriented organization a success by honoring their contributions, experiences and strengths every day.

A variety of employment, job training and related services are available to veterans. These are the same services that are available to all customers including veterans, except that veterans are given priority of service. Veterans can search for jobs, receive priority service at Creative Management Staffing Services and access information on transition assistance and benefits. Just for Veterans on our site has more information on services available to all veterans.

CRUFV will oversee the Leadership Program (CRUFVLP), which helps veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan find work and achieve successful transitions back into civilian life. CRUFV Veterans Resource & Referral Specialists, who are veterans of Iraq, Afghanistan, or both, play an integral role in meeting the needs of other returning veterans by using referrals to address their employment, training, medical, educational, and other needs.
